Custom Hot Tub Cover – Get It!

with one comment

The hot tub covers that come with hot tubs with the initial purchase tend to be of lower quality than custom hot tub covers. In order to ensure that you protect your spa to the fullest extent, you may want to consider purchasing a high quality hot tub cover.

If you already have a high quality cover, then you just want to make sure that it fits well and forms a perfect seal.

The quality of the seal on hot tub covers is very important because it determines how well the temperature on your spa will be controlled and how well you will keep things out that you don’t want to get in.

The investment in high quality hot tub covers is minimal when you consider how much money it will save you in the long run on your larger investment in your hot tub. A better hot tub cover will preserve more heat and will protect your hot tub more effectively than the lower quality cover that comes with your spa.

The R-value of hot tub covers is the measurement used to express how well a cover retains the flow of heat. The main factor that affects this measurement is the thickness of the cover. The higher the R-value, the better the cover insulates the hot tub.

An R-value of 15 is considered good enough to protect your hot tub and keep it at the proper temperature. Anything higher is not really distinguishable from the quality of an R-value 15.

The better hot tub covers retain heat, the better your hot tub will function, the more enjoyable it will be for you, and the more money you will save.

The ultimate goal is to keep the water inside the hot tub warm and to keep everything else out of the tub.

A better insulated spa cover offers more protection and heat maintenance. In addition to these positives, you want to remember that a good hot tub cover will be mildew-resistant. This is another thing to keep in mind because you don’t want to have a smelly or moldy cover.

Ideal Spa Covers

with one comment

Hot tubs are very useful for relaxation and stress relief, so it is important for us to take care of them. They need to be maintained properly in order to work, and one of the items we have to think about are covers. Since the hot tubs are around, people wanted to have a better quality and more comfortable spas, which is perfectly ok. But that means that there are some additions that need to be taken care of and that more money needs to be spend. If you want to protect your hot tub, you have to find ideal spa cover for it.

To prevent any dust and debris falling into the tub, a quality cover is a must. They will also protect our children from falling into the hot tun and getting hurt. Cats, dogs and other animals won’t be allowed to come inside anymore and damage the spa. Anything else won’t be allows inside, of course, so there won’t be any objects entering your sacred relaxation space with a ideal spa cover.

Your water will definitely be more cleaner and the color of the hot tub will remain the same in time. The sunlight often fades the color and I am sure that you have seen this happen before. It would not be so convenient to replace the whole tub or to paint it over again. But with nice cover, you protect the inside and you can get a nice visual addition too. It’s a matter of choice actually, but there are many different types and colors available, so I am sure you can find something that suits you best.

One of the things I should mention are the electric covers, that are way more convenient then the manual ones. You won’t have to do the lifting by yourself, an electric motor will remove the cover and allow you to enter your hot tub spa. This is especially a great solution if you have bigger tub, because it would be very hard to lift such a big cover. They use the same techniques as electric pool covers, so this is not anything new. You get a proven mechanism for your convenience only. I believe that is the ideal spa cover, if you are looking for something that will protect your property and keep others safe in the same time, then electric is the way to go.
